So, so SO HAPPY with Padrino's Pizza & Pasta right now! We ordered a specialty Greek pizza and it was SO delicious! The delivery was almost to the tee with the time they gave us and the delivery guy was very nice (we tipped him well for it, too :) Of all the pizza joints we've tried in and around the Bellevue area, Padrino's was by far the best tasting, fastest delivery time, and nicest service we've had.

Service here is absolutely awful. I have been here a few times and after my latest visit will never return again. Servers have no idea how to treat guests, nor do they know what the heck they are serving. On the last visit I had to ask for pickles, ask for more tea refills, ask for a napkin, had to wait over 15 minutes to have my plate cleared away when I was done, and then had to ask for the check.
No one ever asked how my meal was, or for that matter seemed to care. The experience was bad from the moment the young girl sat us without the least bit of care or even a smile. No one greeted us, or even really cared that we were there spending $50 on lunch.
It seems that management has no clue how to run a restaurant. The food is decent, plus because of the bad service, and only because of the bad service, I will never return and will inform, friends and coworkers to ban Goldbergs forever. It is really a shame, as I love corned beef, but will not return.

Being a graphic/web designer, I also see similar problems with my clients.

In my opinion, using the automobile analogy, a good web designer is not only the auto body shop, it is also the industrial designer who make sure your car looks cool and place the readouts, buttons, gear-shift, cup holders, etc., where they would be most useable. (that means functions and navigations, in the web world)

While I appreciate the need to save money, to people who want business web sites, I ask you... Is $10 discount on something ineffective/useless really a good deal? Potential clients will often assume their online experiences represent their in-person experiences (YES, they can smell your attitude from their screens.)

Take the dating site for example, if you put a picture of you taken first thing in the morning, even if you are the most fabulous person in the world, do you think you will get good responses? And if people do respond, would they be the kind of people you want to be with (right target audience)?

Thanks, Julia for letting me stand on this sturdy and readable blog soap box for a few minutes!
